Car description |

For sale AS IS. This car still looks pretty and runs smoothly but does have some issues. This is for a hobbyist / enthusiast who wants a project. Would not recommend as a daily driver as is.
I am not a mechanic so I can't answer in great detail but here is the story and what I know about it...
I bought this car 3 years ago as a fun 2nd car. Unfortunately, I was T-boned in it 2 years ago but had it repaired. The rear axle and passenger side back door were replaced and the unibody had to be straightened. The rear axle is from a 240D which has a different differential, so the speedometer and odometer ratio is off. That said, she still drives nice and straight. A new axle from another 300D would obviously fix this issue.
There is a slow vacuum leak somewhere so the car occasionally "runs on"
The AC is not workingFuel gauge, oil pressure sensor do not work.
Does not leak oil (strange but true for these cars, I understand)
Sunroof does not work
Interior dash is almost perfect. Garage kept it's entire life. I have documentation and original sales receipts from the original owner.
Some wear and tear and shrinking of vinyl interior parts.
Two rear tires are new.
The battery is new.
Sony bluetooth radio installed 3 years ago.
Of course there are a few other things that need maintenance and repair as you would expect in a 32 year old car...
Contact me if you are interested in this. Again, this is for someone who knows about these cars or is willing to learn
about them.
Asking $1700 OBO
