Car description |

Youngtimer W124
Due to an extensive historic home restoration, I'm finding myself having to possibly let go of one of my favorite cars.
Still drives as well as it has been new since I've spent the last 9 years maintaining and slowly restoring it with extensive service records going up to the last couple decades.
The good:
Body has original paint but could use a re-clear or a good wax job.
Interior is as good as you'd find in a 28 yr old car.
Mechanically sound miles where the work done on the engine and the transmission was less than a couple 5000 miles ago.
Undercarriage is clean and has minimal to hardly any surface rust.
Tires are less than a couple of thousand miles of wear.
The bad:
As mentioned, the paint is not perfect but still looks good from a few feet away (it's 28 years old after all).
Front tie rod needs to be repaired/replaced
Muffler needs repair/replacement
AC needs recharge and center vents need some flow work
Original Becker Audio head unit has been put back but still needs to be wired up.
I had all the intentions of keeping this car to finish and drive it till the wheels fall off, but as mentioned, other priorities have taken precedence and will have to compromise.
