Car description

1985 Mercedes 380SL Convertible
What can I say. This car is amazing in every way. The feeling you get while driving it is unparalleled. My father bought this car brand new from Benzel-Busch in Englewood, NJ 07631. I still have the original bill of sale from 1985. It then made its way to our Florida home about 20 years ago where it has always been garaged. About a year ago I brought it back to NJ where I am enjoying it now. This is will be a hard one to let go but I honestly have too many cars and I need the space. This car was barely driven which is why it has only 46,000 miles.
Now about the car . . . everything works. It starts right up on the first try. Engine is so quiet and smooth. The transmission shifts very smoothly. There are no warning lights and it drives fantastic. I have the original hardtop in my garage and the black soft top is in great condition with no tears etc. The last 2 pictures show the hard top and soft top. Exterior looks good but certainly not perfect. The paint has bubbled in 3 areas and may need to repaint it. I did not want to get it done because I am sure the new buyer will want to get it done their way. There are also a few very minor dings that some may notice. No major dents or hits etc. Interior . . . impeccable. No tears, rips, stains on the seats. It even has the rare back seat option in practically new condition. I get so many compliments on the interior because of how good it looks. The radio works and the antenna goes up and down. The exterior lights and interior lights all work. The original first-aid kit is still in the trunk. The windows are power windows and they work. Even the A/C works! The chrome on the car is all original and looks good. Especially considering its age. I installed 4 brand new tires recently and had it serviced at an authorized Mercedes dealer. This car is simply a beauty and such a joy to drive. Especially while listening to some 80s tunes. Really brings you back. Good Luck bidding and feel free to contact me with any questions. Now that its nice out, I like to drive this car so text me to set up a test drive.
Thanks,
