Car description |

I found this beauty in Minnesota in 2014, having sat in a barn on a farm for 15 years. When she was pulled out and new battery installed, she started right up. I had her transported down to Miami where she has been garage kept ever since. In her glory days, she had been a show car. Three of her award metals were found in the glove compartment, along with the original sales slip when the car was sold! I have done the following on the car: Brand new coker white wall tires, Rebuilt transmission, Carborators totally rebuilt by Palm Beach Garage, Gas tank removed and cleaned, gas gauge repaired, Replaced fuel filter, drained and flushed fuel system, replaced fuel pump, replaced ignition wires, tuned engine, New muffler, Replaced the clutch, installed coco matsI have spent over $6000 in repairs to get her road worthy and she finally is. She has a straight body and shifts well and an extremely quiet engine. My mechanic says she is rust free under carriage and only surface rust on the body. I found an invoice from 1998 in her door pockets where a mechanic opined the same thing about the lack of rust.
I drive her at least once a week and get loads of honks, complements, and folks taking pictures. The interior is in good shape for her age and the headliner and upholstery are totally in tact. Next, I wanted to paint her and install AC, but I have run out of time and money . She is fine as is, but after all the work that has gone into her, she deserves a fresh paint job. For the record, her name is Savannah. Because she is a vintage beauty.
Please feel free to ask questions.

I forgot to add that all the exterior and interior lights, the horn and the original radio work. But radio only picks up AM stations. Outside Antennae appears original. A wide white wall spare tire is in the trunk tire well and appears very old but unused
