Car description

For Sale is a 1985 Mercedes 300TD wagon. original Burgundy paint color. Palomino/tan interior. with 146. 00 miles. new Michelin tires. factory chrome roof rack. factory sun roofVery good example of this model. engine starts easily. runs smoothly. and the transmission shifts and pulls very strongly through all the gears. -car mostly spent winters in Florida and summers in Maine-absolutely minimal rust to be found anywhere-one prior owner since myself-full history and paperwork of all maintenance and repairs since new-maintenance booklet has been fully stamped -original radio has been replaced with a nice Sony CD player and radio but an original Becker that came with that year model comes with the car-complete set of original factory service manuals comes with the car-roof rack has factory chrome cross bars-new battery-new Michelin tires-the car has an Unco box alarm system installed the still works as far as I can tellthe car has had a good life with an owner that took care of the car. My situation has changed and I cannot own and maintain the car as I think it should be. Here is a list of things that I have noticed that need attention:-the AC compressor quit late summer but the ac was blowing cold air before that-the cruise control has not worked since I purchased it-the tachometer quit couple of months ago-the rear gate latch lock tries to work. you can see the knob move so it is getting vacuum. but is stuck. It can be locked manually-two small woodgrain trim panels have come unglued from the dash and need to be reattached-quater sized paint flake along the top of the rear gate-2 inch long paint flake along the left bottom of the rear window-small amount of rust around the base of the power antenna (should be on the top of the list for repairs) -there is a slight rattle coming from a broken ring clamp for the gear selector under the center console (not an uncommon problem)Please message or email me with any questions. I have lots of additional photos of the undercarriage I can send anyone who is interested. Thanks for bidding.
