FUEL ECONOMY-NEW PARTS BRAKES ALTERNATOR COMPRESSOR BATTERY-DAILY DRIVER-ATLANTA

The Silver Mercedes 300 SDL 1986 model is our current daily family driver. I have owned the Mercedes for the last 9 years. It has been serviced and is in safe driving condition. Please be aware that most Mercedes listed online are not daily drivers and are listed by dealers who have patched the cars to flip them for a quick profit. In addition the cars listed by dealers are sitting on the dealers’ used car lots for a long time. which causes all kind of issues due to not using the car. Similar things can be said about sellers who have had the cars parked in their garages for a long time and then decide to sell their "museum" car. Driving the Mercedes as a daily family driver. I made sure that it is safe and serviced. The Mercedes 300 SDL series are known for their incredible long life times. reliability. and safety. After owning the car for such a long time. I can say this absolutely true. This is not necessarily true for newer cars as the quality of the newer cars has been going down over the years. This is a turbo diesel which has an excellent fuel economy. and you don't need emissions testing every year. The car drives amazingly and gets 30 and beyond mpg if you stay at the speed limit on the highway. I would love to keep the Mercedes. but I have been asked by our family members to consider a larger five doored Mercedes. The Mercedes has a lot of miles. and it's been serviced. The Mercedes diesel cars are known to run for many. many miles more. I will list what I know about the condition of the car. and you're welcome to come for a test ride before placing a bid. As said before the Mercedes is serviced. Odometer has stopped at 195K a few years ago. Phone. MP3 media extender and additional Kenwood CD changer in trunk ( I cannot find the CD changer cassette . but you can find them online; I use the media extender with iPad. Phone. MP3. GPS most of the time )And many more new parts. Driver side window needs new motor. Other windows are working. (passenger side window goes down. but sometimes it gets stuck)The automatic door locks have stopped working a few months ago. We are locking the doors manually. Passenger leather seat shows wear. I never used the Sunroof because the AC is blowing cold. Sunroof may or may not work. The only thing that needs to be addressed soon is the weakening transmission. I was told there are plenty cheap used ones available. but you should check with your own mechanic for pricing. The car is also listed for sale locally. and I reserve the right to end the auction.
