MERCEDES BENZ 560 SEL - 2 OWNER - EXCELLENT CONDITION

This is one of the cleanest 560 SEL's you will ever see! This particular vehicle comes from a family who has owned it since 1992. It has been cared for and maintained its whole life. I purchased it from a good friend who's father had recently passed. He had several Mercedes Benz vehicles and took great care of them all. This 560 SEL, being its last year, was the pinnacle of development for the W126 chassis. This was the best-selling "S" class ever and many refer to it as the best "S" class ever built! It was manufactured during a time when Mercedes Benz still built vehicles with no compromise and no obvious cost saving measures as they began to do a few years later. The Benz has a little over 138K actual "pampered" miles! All required maintenance has been performed. It's ready for the road and a new home.....
ENGINE:
Engine starts right up with no effort. Settles into a smooth 750RPM idle. Throttle response is immediate! Pulls effortlessly all the way to 6000 rpm redline with no missing...no hesitation or misfire at all. New air filters, oil change and oil filter too.
TRANSMISSION:
Shifts from "Park" to "Drive" to "Reverse" back to "Park" with NO hesitation. Just the normal brief pause between engagement. Shifts up and down with NO Harsh shift, no slipping, no hesitation and no vibration. Transmission is in perfect condition!
ELECTRICAL:
Everything works perfectly! All lights, Pseats, Pwindows, mirrors, Sunroof, Heated seats front AND rear, Rear seat power recline, Cruise control, instrument panel lights, all work! Air Cond. is ice cold! Already converted to newer R134 refrigerant. Fairly new correct replacement NAPA Battery. I even replaced the headlight wiper blades with correct Bosch replacements!
SUSPENSION/UNDERCARRIAGE:
Suspension is as tight as the W126 ever was designed to be. In other words, compared to modern German cars, it might feel on the soft side, but still solid as a bank vault going down the road. The undercarriage is very clean and dry. No frame rust. No leaks!
BRAKES/TIRES:
Brakes have 80% remaining wear front and rear. No "Brake Shake". Rotors are not grooved. Vehicle stops straight and true. No pulling or wandering on braking. The Michelin tires are not brand new, but they only have around 400 miles on them. Original alloy wheels in perfect condition. No curb rash and still have a nice shine.
BODY/PAINT:
All Original paint that still has a beautiful glossy shine. This Benz has been garage kept its whole life. No body filler anywhere. No repairs anywhere. All body panels have original VIN #. All tiny rock chips have been touched up with correct Midnight Blue paint color.
INTERIOR/TRIM:
Seats, carpets, headliner, wood trim, all in excellent condition. No cracks in the dash pad. No cracks in the wood trim. No cracks in the leather. Carpets/floor mats all in excellent condition. All glass, chrome and trim are in perfect condition.
