Car description |

This auction is for a car that I purchased with a couple of other items from an elderly gentlemen. Purchase new by his Father put in his garage in 1990. It first saw light of day in April of this year when I purchased it.
He's old and tracks so so. Some of the information is only as I have observed or received from him. He has a clear title in his name and has yet to find it. So if the new owner finds it necessary I will have to contact him and have him get a replacement title from the State of IL where it was registered. Otherwise it is easier for me and you (the new owner) that you realize that this is just a parts car and what you see is what you get.
I have the keys for the car. I haven't tried to get the car running, but the engine is free. He told me that 10,000 miles prior to putting it away in 1990, he had the transmission rebuilt and the car ran well then.
As you can see, the bottom side of this car has a very rusty pan. The rust has been a convenient entrance for mice and possibly raccoons. My old factory senses do not allow me to make the correct determination. The car is as is and will not be cleaned.
My assumption is that finding parts for this one of these 45 year old car. The body panels all look and fit pretty good. The grill shell as you can see, is very nice. The garage that it was in was not leaky, just had a concrete floor.
So again this is a complete non-running car, no title in hand and as is. Transportation is buyers expense.
