This Mercedes Benz 280E is a hard-to-find classic in North America. It is a "grey market" version of the more common export model. Manual windows and climate controls, fabric seat covers and interior panels. Electric sunroof. Low-profile Euro-style bumpers. Renowned MB model 110 gas engine: 2.8 liter straight 6, DOHC, aluminum head, with Jetronic fuel injection. Smooth four-speed automatic transmission. Odometer works and says 107K--probably not the actual mileage.New steering gearbox installed in 2016. No rust except in a couple of small spots. The car originally went to Florida from Germany and spent most of it's life there before moving to Massachusetts (2nd owner). Garaged from Nov 1 to May 1 since I have owned it.
