Car description |

74 280c coupe, a nice solid car that has some life left in it. The engine runs buts has no oil pressure, the car sat for a long time and after I rebuilt the carb, replaced plugs and wire, points .cleaned the fuel tank all the way to the carb, I installed the electric fuel pump, changed oil, the car started. But the oil pressure never seems to come up, finally took the line off the engine for the oil gage and nothing. I read up on thi, m110 engine has a gear driver pump on the front of the engine for the pump drive. I don't won't to go any further with it... So the 280c has a great looking body with only a some body damage on left rear above the wheel well, check images. The dash has been torn apart but can easily be put together. lke I say someone that has experience with interior, and engine repair this would be a good project. Complete with all four wheel covers, jack and some spare parts in the trunk. The title is good and clear in my name. The was a amazing car new with the double overhead camshaft engine, solex four barrel carb, I bet it run really good. Anyway the reserve is low. The winning bidder needs to make arrangements for pickup. The car does not run and needs to be trailered home, the brakes work fine. Please check all the imagesGood Luck.
On Apr-12-17 at 09:14:46 PDT, seller added the following information:Someone brought to my attention to take pics of the rocker areas where the jack supports are and he was right, three out of four corners have rust thru on the corners, the wheel wells are in good condition and the spare tire support is in good condition, the trunk has a few pinholes in it. So there is rust in the car but minimal. I could only three more images to give you a idea.
