We are helping a friend liquidate some cars from their collection.
This is a third owner car.
Recent owner has only owned this car for about a year;the gentleman he bought it from had owned the car from when it was almost new.
He did change the steering wheel ; we DO NOT HAVE the original one.
100 % original. (except steering wheel)
Starts right up, drive it anywhere!
Has been sitting in dry storage for many years;
However car was started once or twice a year and driven around the block.
We believe car was re-painted a few years after it was purchased;
we believe it could have been done by the Mercedes dealer.
Car is exceptionally clean.We did find some small rust on right lower inner radiator support, see photo.
This is an excellent example of original 280 SL!
These cars are becoming verycollectible,
especially in nice originalcondition.

All car purchases can be stored at our facility for up to 7 days free of charge!

After that a $20/day storage fee will be applied!
