BARN FIND: 1982 Mercedes-Benz 380SL Hard + Soft Tops Low Mileage

BARN FIND - This once beautiful convertible was found in a barn in Western PA. It driven into the barn in 1999 and hasn't moved since. I have made no attempt to start the car. The key is in the ignition but there is no charge on the battery. It did run fine when it was parked. There is some minor rust on the hood (see photo) and some of the chrome trim is oxidized. The worst of the damage is to the removable hard top which has many spots where the paint is damaged. Inside the car is in decent shape but could use a thorough detailing to make it shine nicely. The vehicle has just under 74,000 miles on it. Soft top has a few small tears in it and the plastic windows are hard and yellowed - and will need to be repaired. All pretty simple repairs to yield a very nice convertible that sold for almost $50K new.

Car can be picked up near Freeport, PA between April 9th and 12th.

$500 deposit will be required with 24 hours of auction end.
