Car description |
---|
This is the iconic Mercedes “Pagoda” W113 in excellent, original condition*. It has a factory installed side facing rear seat, which they only made 600. It is Cream with original red interior, and a huge head turner. Complete inspection report available from Colorado’s premier Mercedes mechanic, who said in his lifetime career has only seen one other 3-seater. This car has been owned by the same family/friend for 30+ years and has rarely been driven. Always garaged, never driven in wet conditions. Original woodwork, mirrors, leather, carpeting, gauges, clock, Becker radio, and lenses! Includes an original parts manual. Even has the driving lights option. Has both tops, the soft top appears to be original, the rear window is clear, it does have a couple of small patches. The body is completely clean, a few minor dings in the chrome, original lenses. Starts easily, runs well, 4 speed manual transmission, clutch is new and shifts smoothly. Handles as it should. Brakes are good. Good tires. Lots of photos available. Valued by Haggerty at asking price. This is a true collector’s edition and not to be missed!
* Non-original items;
Body repainted in original color by Mercedes certified shop (hard top was not repainted)
Engine has been upgraded to a 2.8ltr fuel injected engine, will burn 98 octane (racing fuel), it is really fast!
High end alarm system added
On board battery charger and battery cutoff added
Stereo speakers added
Exhaust headers (just replaced) and resonator (repro)
Front floor mats
Turn signal/wiper lever (excellent reproduction)
Seat belts added
