Car description |
---|
Up for auction is my 1994 Mercedes E320. I've owned this car for about 2 years, having purchased it from the original owner in the Lake Norman area for use as a spare car. I also own a 2014 E350 and a 2011 GL350, so I am well versed on the maintenance schedules for these cars and have maintained it according to factory recommendations. I bought it from the original owner, who also maintained the car correctly. I have a folder of maintenance records form both of us that will transfer to the new owner, as well as the original owners manual. I recently had the transmission serviced (fluid and filter replacement) and replaced some worn shifter bushings. In all, I've put just under 20K on the car myself.
This car is in excellent shape. The W124 chassis is an exceptional car, built like a tank. The inline six engine is strong, starts easily and is silky smooth. The interior is clean, as you can see from the pics, with no tears in the upholstery and only the smallest of cracks in the woodgrain center console (near the shifter). The dash is perfect, no flaking or cracking. The exterior is in excellent shape as well. The original paint still gleams after being cared for all these years. The car has NO mechanical issues, and the only cosmetic one is that the headliner is sagging a bit in the rear.
In truth, I want to keep the car, but the wife says we have too many in the driveway, so there you go...my loss is your gain. Thanks for bidding and good luck. Feel free to contact me with questions.
