Car description |

1986 Mercedes S-Class 300SDL with straight-6 turbo diesel engine
This plush sedan lived in Texas from 1992-2005 so has a relatively rust-free body. Garaged from 2005-2015.
Cruise control, Reclining rear seats, Power headrests!
Rare long body version made only 2 years in the united states.
This car is very well preserved. It has always started on the first try. It is not leaking any oil or fluid on my garage floor. It has tires that look like they have 80% or more tread. It drives nicely and I've taken it on a few trips up and down the oregon coast.
The fuel gauge doesn't work about 30% of the time until you get moving.
The turbo makes nice power from about 2300rpm and above. For a large car it handles very well.
Not expensive to insure, its been a fun car to have but I have too many cars.
I purchased this from an elderly couple in town who had owned it at least since 1992.
I tried to take some good photos so you can see the decent condition of the mats, carpets, doors, body, seats, console, gauges, etc. Please ask any questions you have.
