Car description

You are viewing a beautiful example of this 1978 Mercedes 300 Coupe Diesel. Its a 2 owner car from new with only 76,500 miles. The color of the car is stunning and rare, English red. The paint is in excellent condition and very glossy with no major imperfections or scratches.
The Parchment Leather is outstanding and looks like new. Leather was an option for this year and model. The seats were covered with sheep skins thus preserving the seats, which are super soft and supple. The door panels are nice and firm as is the headliner. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks and the car has burl wood which is rare for a Coupe.
Inside the car you will find everything to be in working condition. The climate control switches from heat to air condition--however the climate wheel decals are slightly worn. All power windows work as does the sunroof. When driving the car the cruise control engages and holds nicely. The car still has its original Becker Europa stereo with AM/FM cassette. The power antenna works beautiful in both positions. Mechanically she is very sound. The engine compartment is very detailed and looks like new. The car has new tires, valves, and was recently serviced. Excellent brakes and fresh oil change using shell Rotella 15/40.
The 123 Coupes are very hard to find and in this condition. The vehicle has always been garaged. The transmission shifts very smooth and the suspension is very tight and makes no noises. I am pricing this car to sell. The new Owner will be very proud to drive this car and enjoy the original condition.Clear title, manuals, original keys, full size spare and tools in trunk--and most important, rust free survivor.
