Description

Exceptional example of the classic 280 SE, 4.5 V-8 sedan. Pristine original condition with low mileage that appears to be original and true. Original California blue plate car - Never lived outside the state and probably always garaged. Totally rust free with no evidence of body work or repairs. Nice black Mercedes Tex seats in perfect condition, so you don't have to worry about replacing old cracked and smelly leather.
Dash and steering wheel!! without a crack. Clock even works and keeps accurate time!! Now how rare is that? Desirable console shifter. Woodwork in remarkable refinished condition as well. Car was probably painted once a long time ago. Paint quite nice and currently has been clayed and sealed - extremely smooth to the touch. Lovely bright work. Original Becker radio.
I've owned Elke a little over five years and only drive her now and then as I am not in state full-time. The rest of the time she is in the garage and covered. Meticulously maintained with all receipts during my ownership. While there is A/C, it is not currently charged as I've never had a need for it in coastal California.
