I have a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300 Turbo Diesel Wagon, color: Gray, VIN: WDBEB93D5HF015068, license plates good through 08/29/2017. Included with the repair bills in the Glove Compartment is a new Owner’s Manual for a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300 Turbo-Diesel Wagon. In the rear seats are: (1) a Maintenance Manual, (2) a Service Manual-Heating, Air Conditioning and Automatic Climate Control and (3) a Service Manual-Diesel Engines. This Mercedes-Benz was originally owned by a Daimler executive and has some extra options. Repairs performed: new heavy duty Interstate battery, new master brake cylinder, new brake pads, replaced right rear brake line, replaced brake fluid, bled all brake lines, added brake fluid, new cylinders to hold up the tailgate when open. Maintenance performed: replaced belt tensioner and water pump pulley, replaced belt and tightened belt tensioner Main Belt. Removed dent in pulley groove. replaced diesel fuel filter and pre-fuel filter, changed engine oil and replaced with SAE 15W-40 motor oil, checked radiator anti-freeze which is in good condition and good to 50 degrees below zero F. All fluids were checked at the time of the oil change. Negative feature: there is some rust around the wheel wells on the right hand side. Positive features: There is a roof vent. If it fails to close electronically, it still can be closed manually, all doors lock automatically when you lock one of the front doors. All engine gauges are working except the odometer: oil pressure is excellent even at idle. I have not driven the 87 Mercedes-Benz long enough to check the mileage, but many years ago, my 220 Mercedes-Benz would get 40 mpg confirmed (when traveling). Except for a crack on the dash, the interior of the vehicle is in mint condition. There are head restraints for all front and back seats and seat restraints for all of the seats. There are two floor mats for each seat in the Mercedes-Benz. It would be useful to have another vehicle around, but I have made a decision that I must get my investment back. If you have any questions concerning the Mercedes-Benz, please feel free to send them to wildbillwest via eBay.com. I look forward to serving your vehicle needs with a quality diesel vehicle. Your interest and understanding are very much appreciated!
