I have for sale my 1982 Mercedes 240d. It's a manual transmission diesel sedan with the W123 body. It's Dark green with tan MB-tex interior. It runs like a champ, always starts up....except when it's too cold and then I use the block heater. I've owned this car as my daily driver for about 4 years now and I just bought a newer car and am selling the Mercedes. It's been a great car. The things I have done in the past four years have been: regular changing of the oil and air filters, I replaced all the fuel lines and filters, new tires, new rear brakes and shocks, new battery, new muffler system, new alternator, lubed up all the engine acceleration parts, and have given it a good cleaning. It has the original first aid kit, and tool kit as well as a full spare and jack. It has 143,500 miles on it. However I noticed the odometer stopped working about a year ago...so it may have another 5-7000 on the car. The issues I've noticed have been: It uses some oil, the sunroof & the rear passenger window doesn't open, the paint is fading in places, it has a few rust spots (not bad thought), it could use front brakes soon, the vacuum for the locks has a leak and they work but sometimes you have to operate them manually. I also installed a newer CD player when I bought it but it hasn't been working lately, so that could use some attention or a new head unit, the heater works, but the A/C isn't hooked up. That's about it, it's been a great car that I drive around town all the time, it's a 33 year old 4 cylinder diesel mercedes and is slow, but it just always runs like a tank. I have the clean title in hand, and a couple spare keys. Come give it a test drive.
