1975 Mercedes 450SL Roadster Convertible Running California Car

1975 Mercedes Benz 107 Chassis 450SL Roadster Convertible with hardtop.This Mercedes is in decent condition definitely a good candidate for restoration of you are looking for a smog exempt (at least here in California) Convertible car. The car is mechanically sound so you can drive it while and if you decide to restore or use it as is. The Benz doesn't show a lot of rust although I have seen that the floor panels were professionally replaced at some point.The driver side fender right were it meets the front headlight shows rust underneath the paint.Other than that I have not detected any other parts with major rust on it.The paint job is mediocre, he interior is tired and the seats although might look good on pictures are getting saggy and would need attention.It has the rare rear jump seat which I personally think is just for looks. There are no seat belts in the backBut like in every 107 convertible the hookups are there to install them.Something I have seen for the first time is the dual front armrest. I have dealt with plenty of 107 Mercedes in the past and this is the first time I actually see a double front. It seems to be factory installed but I am not certain. The soft top is there but it has 2 major rips on each side the frame is good though the canvas would need to be replaced. This 450SL was the daily driver of a friend that moved to Mexico for good.It has left it in my warehouse since then (2 months approx) and needs to be sold.I put a new computer and some brand new relays which solved some ignition problems the car had previously I have a clear title in hand and I can assist should the car be sold overseas.The car is located inside my warehouse in the city of Gardena near LAX and local inspections and test drives are very welcome.
