1991 Mercedes Benz 500sl

This convertible coupe has a salvage title due to an accident it had in the 90's but was rebuilt by an official Mercedes Benz dealership. I put premium 18" Lorinser rims/wheels on and installed a premium audio MP3/CD sound system as well.Engine is good, ut transmission is bad. You have to let it warm up for at least 10 minutes before you drive it or else something weird happens when you take it out for a drive without warming it up - transmission gets stuck in a high gear and like drives itself, t feels like it revs up to a high speed and gets stuck there. So you have to pull over and shut the car off and turn it back puttering with the gas pedal to kick it back out of the stuck gear - I don't know what that is but definitely something to do with the transmission. Very minor electrical problem where the dashboard that reads the odometer isn't working but A/C, indows and other electrical functions work. This vehicle has been sitting for over a year in my yard, o might need a new battery.Definitely can't drive it due to that transmission problem and need a tow truck to come pick it up. This authentic Made in Germany vehicle is good for a technician/mechanic who knows about Mercedes Benz and can handle them.
