1971 Mercedes-Benz 250 Sedan.Listed on behalf of the owner.Purchased new in San Jose in 1971 by the wife of a U.S. Diplomatic Consultant. This 250 sedan was sparingly used and stored at Travis Air Force Base while the couple traveled overseas. It later moved with her to the Pacific Northwest where it continues to be used occasionally today and maintained by Mercedes specialists. Her only reason for selling is to make room in the garage. One repaint approximately 10 years ago in original (and rare) Horizon Blue color. Presents nicely today. Body is straight and clean. A few small paint bubbles were noted near one rear wheel well. Nothing serious, ut want to point it out. Please see photo.Interior is completely original. Beautiful tan MB Tek upholstery in excellent condition. Some wear noted to the back seat. Clean, on-smoking car. Tires and wheels are very good. Chrome and trim is original and overall excellent after 44 years. I have personally driven this car. The engine runs smoothly. Plenty of power. No smoke or noises. Shifts well and stops straight. A very nice Mercedes that was just serviced and is ready to drive anywhere.Includes original tools, anuals and purchase documents. A real time capsule. A realistic reserve has been placed on this car in keeping with its condition, ow-mileage and one-owner history. Please bid accordingly. Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
