1982 Mazda RX-7 Coupe GSL 21052 miles . Barn Find Beautiful

Placed in a time capsule (barn) by a Judge's decision in 1984. As told to me by the previous owner: This pristine RX-7 was given to her by the Judge in her parent's 1984 divorce proceedings when she was 2 years old. It had 14,000 miles at that time. It was stored, overed, n a western Montana barn until 2006 when she wanted a down payment for a home for herself and her husband to be. He was a diesel mechanic and went through the engine to get it ready for restart. At that time I purchased it, had a mechanic go through it and they found nothing wrong. I put on new tires. (I still have the originals with 14k miles.) From 2006 to 2011 I drove it about 1000 miles per year (summer only) until it reached its current 21,205 miles. Since then it has been stored in a storage unit and covered. It has not been started since 2011. The pictures were takenJune 20, 015.

When I last drove it in 2011 it purred down the highway as smooth as only an RX-7 can.

Perfections: Everything is original except the tires and I still have those. The leather and vinyl are perfect. All weather seals are perfect. It has the dealer installed matching leather rear seat with fold down back. Even the stereo is original with graphic equalizer. You will need to provide your own cassette tapes! Gas shocks on the rear hatch still hold the hatch up like new.

Imperfections: Both electric mirrors stopped working at the same time in 2009. The up and down antenna also quit working in 2009 and was bent in 2011. One 3/8" diameter tree sap mark on the hood, ne minor½" long dent by windshield wipers, ne minor¾" dent on gas access door, nd some tiny rock chips on hood.
