I am re-listing my car because my auction was hijacked by clown in Puerto Rico that had no intention of going through with the deal. I have turned off settings that should have never been turned on (eBay?) that allowed people from outside the US to bid on the car. This was and still listed as is a local pick up only. My mother bought this car in 1986 and it was in the garage for many years. The heater core is bad. The AC was working this summer but the fuse for the blower motor is blown. The rear passenger quarter panel was hit in a parking lot 30 years ago. I didn't see the damage but the body work is excellent. There is a small a small rust hole that you can see in the photo on that panel and the rocker panels paint is bubbling a little. The fuel filter and hose from filter to tank was just replaced. The seats are in nice shape and the headliner looks fine. Sometimes you have to inch the car forward to get it to slide into reverse but that has never been a problem for me. The car always starts even when I haven't driven it for months. The car runs well but I don't drive it very often. The carburetor can use some work tuning or maybe a rebuild. I keep the battery charged up. The lady next door passed away where the car is parked so I need to find a new home for it. The car is parked a couple short blocks from the light rail from STL airport if you want to fly in to pick it up. There is an extra thermostat and other parts included with the car. The generator belt is looking old. I had planned on driving the car a couple hours but I just found out the AC is not working and it is going to be a hot weekend maybe next week so they may be a few more miles on the car when it sells. The clutch was replaced but I don't know what the mileage was. There are dents and dings on the body and the carpet is not in good shape. The master cylinder leaked on it years ago. I replaced the radiator level sensor in May. This is a very old running car sold as is. I inherited the car about 10 years ago. During that time I replaced put tires, battery, fuel pump, alternator, rear muffler, front brakes, idler arm bushing that is probably a little too tight because I installed it from above and had to crank it down to get the nut on. It has not had a safety inspection for around 4 years because it had historic plates. I keep the gas tank full and make sure the gas is fresh every 6 months but that is about all the drive it. The oil is clear but it is a year or two old.
