Gorgeous & Rare 1993 Mazda RX-7
Key Facts:The engine was rebuilt in 2007 at 80,757 miles by Precision Import Repair in Sheridan, CO. Clutch was done at the same time. I have receipts for this work. A/C is functional and running r12. Everything on this car works! Cruise control included. Tires are in great shape. Brakes are old and should be replaced down the line, but they have decent life left for now. Sunroof is operational and does not leak.
There are a couple of modifications on the car. There is an Apex-I AVCR boost controller installed in the glove box. I haven't looked into it much, but the boost can be set by gear and RPM. The display functions and goes through the menu options. An Apex-I blow off valve is installed. There is a carbon fiber trunk wing that is cracked on the driver side, but you have to be within 5 feet to see it. Everything else is factory stock.
I have a couple boxes of spare parts, manuals, and some receipts for repairs. Good, solid driving car that could be a show stopper with some elbow grease. Title in hand.
Story:Selling a 1993 Mazda Rx7. This is a 2nd owner car bought in 2004 that spent most of it's life in Las Vegas. Previous owner died and left with the family. The car shows very well and paint cleans up nicely. Could use a deep down detail to make it really pop. Known issues: The transmission grinds in 5th gear almost every time you shift. Sometimes it happens in 3rd if it's pushed hard. There is a loud clunk from the rear end which I assume to be the wheel bearing. Most noticeable when coming to a stop and leaving from a stop. The car also "crab walks" over uneven roads. Likely needs all new suspension bushings and shocks. It has been in 2 unreported accidents on the driver side and were fixed outside of insurance (not shown on vehicle reports). The driver door doesn't shut as nicely as the passenger, so you need to yank it a bit to get it to close all the way. It lines up fine with the body lines. The passenger door handle is cracked but functions (like many rx7s of this vintage).
*Note: Car is located in Culver City, California*. It has Colorado title and registration. If buying in California, you may need to get emissions equipment up to CA standards.
