1990 Mazda RX7 convertible. I am selling this for my cousin who just moved off of the mainland. He is the original owner and only used Mazda service for oil changes and repairs. The car has been stored in the garage in 2009 with a locked up caliper. Fortunately, there was no evidence of any critters except for raccoon prints across the dusty hood. I replaced the caliper, changed the oil and installed a new battery. It runs good except for a surging idle after it warms up. It needs a headlight motor and switch and wiper switch, which I have, and will be included. The clutch feels good and it shifts good. As shown in the photos, there is rust at the bottom on both sides. I'll post pictures of the other side soon. The paint is still ok but there are 3 quarter size spots where the paint popped off. The Borla stainless steel cat-back system is in great shape and sounds real nice. I don't know anything about rotary engines but I did add some 2-stroke oil with some fresh gas to be on the safe side. It pulls good and the rear tires break loose in 2nd gear. Keep in mind, this is a 28 year old midwest car that sat in a garage for the last 9 years, but it's still a sexy little convertible that you don't see on the street anymore.
