Car description |
---|
This is a 1979 RX-7. It has admittedly seen better days... I left it sitting in a field for about 10 years. Prior to that it ran... until I rebuilt the carburetor. Then, because carbs are so not my thing, I started to install a fuel injection system... and then I had to move. I slapped the carb back on it to keep the mice and weasels out of the engine, and that was effective, because it still turns over.
The Good:Racing Beat Holley Carburetor manifold.Holley Carb with Adjust-a-jet installed.Racing Beat header.Clean title. The interior is in good enough shape to serve as templates for re-upholstery.The rear window supports still support the rear window!Apparently the strut bar is fancy, also.
The BAD:The dash is in horrible shape. See the pictures.A family of packrats took up residence in the battery box. They appear to have vacated when I started messing with the car, but I'm not pulling out the cactus and stuff unless someone makes me a fantastic offer... like if the bid is better than $500.Something strange happened to the windshield, and it should be replaced for safety. The tint is old and mostly terrible.Almost assuredly not actual mileage... but I have no documentation either way. It has the old style odometer that rolls over at 100k miles.
Turn it into a racecar for Lemons, Chump, etc.; restore it into your dream rocket; put a v-8 in it, I don't care.
Payment: $100 deposit or the purchase price, whichever is cheaper, upon close of the auction. If you haven't made shipping arrangements within 7 days, your deposit is forfeit and I relist the car.
