Car description

This is a 1981 Mazda B2000 (B-Series) Pickup Truck. To me it seems that these old Mazda trucks are becoming rare. This one is a great one to restore. The body and frame look solid.
There's 44,177 miles on the odometer. I believe that it's 144,177 miles.
It has been sitting for nearly 15 years (it was last registered in 2002 according to the registration found in the glove box and according to what the owner told me). There was only one owner prior to me.
The odometer may have a few miles more on it when you get it from moving it around the yard.
The engine size is a 1,970cc engine (2.0 Liters), has aluminum heads, valve cover, timing cover and intake manifold. 2-barrel carburetor.
The transmission has been upgrade to a 5-speed (aluminum case). The clutch, all 5 gears and reverse all seem to be working. I have only tested it while sitting on jack stands. It originally came with a 4-speed manual transmission according to the original owner.

It has the A/C option from factory and the a/c compressor was replaced prior to it being parked in 2002. The a/c system looks sealed still. I haven't tested the a/c system yet.
Things I've done since I've owned the truck:
New battery, Oil, Fuel, cleaned spark plugs = I got it to run, but the carburetor was flooding (has an external electric fuel pump).
Then I Rebuilt the Carburetor = The engine ran, but then found a bad head gasket when engine warmed up. I has coolant leaking into one of the cylinders (3rd one from the front). The oil is still clean, so it's not mixing with the cooling system. So, it needs a head gasket replacement.

This truck get good gas mileage, I found this online at: about automobile .com
City MPG: 27 MPG Highway MPG: 38 MPG Combined MPG: 31 MPG

These figures are with the 4-speed transmission.

Comes with parts from Rock Auto, over $300 worth of parts:

Cooling system: Water pump, thermostat, radiator hoses
