Car description

Selling my 1989 RX7 GTU. A 1991 Turbo 2 motor was swapped in and was built by Neptune Speed in Huntington Beach, CA. The motor is streetported, and the car has many upgrades which include but are not limited to:
  • Knightsports hi-flow turbo
  • HKS intake
  • 3" turbo back catless GP exhaust
  • Cusco Oil catch can
  • HKS Fuel pressure regulator
  • Blitz bov
  • Apexi PFC stand alone ECU - with updated OLED screen
  • Greddy Profec B boost controller
  • Walbro fuel pump
  • RC 1200cc secondary injectors
  • 3.5" AWR Radiator and dual oil coolers
  • Cusco coilovers
  • OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch
  • Cusco 3 point rear upper strut brace
  • Nardi steering wheel
  • Recaro SRD seats (Black with red stitching)
  • Push button ignition
  • HID headlights
  • HKS shiftknob
  • HKS Boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge
  • *Rare Works Equips wheels - 17x8 - 17x9
  • GP style kit with J-spec aluminum TII Hood
  • Carbon fiber Wangan wing

The fenders have been pulled and rolled to allow 255 size tires in the rear. I have also swapped the frontcalipersfor a set of calipers from a 1993 RX7 because they look much better. The calipers were rebuilt and powder coated black. The car is drivable and runs but needs a tune, it just has a base tune. As you can see in the pictures the front was damaged slightlyin a moving issue with a ramp that malfunctioned moving the car on a trailer. Everything is fine with the front aside from the visible cracks in the lower portion of the bumper. Was planning on replacing the kit with a more flexible kit and repainting the car.
I am selling the car due to not having any more time or resources for the car and am hoping to sell it to someone who will get it where it needs to be and actually use it.
*WARNING: Vehicle is sold AS IS with no expressed warranty, vehicle was being built for off road use only and is registered PNO (Planned NON-Operation). Vehicle also DOES NOT have A/C or power steering. Carfax will be included with purchase. There is a listing showing an incorrect odometer reading when it wassmogged, but I can assure the odometer has never been tampered with. It was a clerical error when it was smogged when I first purchased the vehicle.
**As INFO: Unfortunately I do not have any of the paperwork for the engine work. This was done before I purchased the vehicle over 8 years ago. I have since lost any paperwork that I may have had when I moved from California to Texas and then back to California. I am trying to track down the previous owner to see if I can get any copies he may have, but there is no guarantee I will be able to get that for you. Winning bidder is more than welcome and encouraged to come down to check the car out before final payment.
