1994 Monster Miata, riginally built in 2006 by NASA engineer. Build is well documented and have a 3 ring binder full of information, eceipts, iagrams, tc. McCully Racing Motors built a forged 331 stroker for this car in late 2012. The owner at the time could not afford to complete a new top end, o the old Ford y303 aluminum heads were reinstalled with a Cobra 5.0 intake. I purchased the car on e-bay fairly recently. When I took delivery, here was excess crankcase blow-by. The car has low compression (65lbs) on cylinder number 7. When oil is added to the cylinder, here is no increase whatsoever in compression, hich to me indicates the problem is in the top end, robably a blown head gasket. The engine should really have AFR, rick Flow, r some other high performance head, n addition to a high flow intake to accommodate the lower end, nbsp; The car runs and drives fine right now, t just produces excess blow by under heavy load and high RPM's. There is no migration of oil into the coolant, r vice versa. The car is very well built, ith Frog arms and frame rails, ord 8.8 LSD rear end, orld Class 5 speed trans, new clutch, new exhaust (with electric cutouts) roll bar, arness, tc., tc. You could not come close to duplicating this car for the money. The lower end of the engine, hich is all forged, alance and blueprinted, long is worth several thousand dollars. I think if you were to put a new proper top end on it, ou would have two things: a real monster on your hands, n addition to a car with a value of around $20K. I have a car fax, am specs, nd all information on this vehicle, o if you have any questions, lease ask. The car is for sale locally, o I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Thank you. Can provide car fax, f you will give me your info. Car has never been wrecked, o rust, ainted once, aint in very nice condition. No air conditional, o power steering, o radio.
