A recent import, his 25 Year Old Cosmo was brought over complete and intact via US Customs Declaration of Box 1 on the HS7 Form.This is a nice example of one of the most Innovative Vehicles in Automotive History! The 20B - 3 Rotor option was and still is the highest HP engine ever offered by Mazda. This engine is basically a street version of the 4 Rotor Mazda Utilized in the 787 Race Car that was subsequently outlawed due to the performance advantages its weight, ize and power offered. The Cosmo was the First Mass Produced Vehicle available with Twin Sequential Turbo, nd the only 3 Rotor Powered Mazda ever made. It has a unique and thrilling engine sound and with 300 Horsepower from the Twin Turbo 3 Rotor it is very fast. The engine builds power smoothly and quickly with torque to spare. This car quietly set the bar for Japanese Performance and Luxury in the early '90s.The Cosmo has fully functional Power Steering / Power Windows / Air Conditioning and many Luxury Options such as Keyless Entry and Power Lumbar and Power Bolstered Seats. Also there are automatic speed sensitive door locks and a auto tilt steering wheel for ease of ingress / egress. The Cosmo has a clean and complete interior. The engine runs strong and the automatic transmission shifts smooth and operates quietly. There are minor paint flaws as is expected with a 25 Year Old Car! The car looks very sporting and the body kit drastically changes the appearance of the Cosmo. It looks like a sports car as apposed to a luxury coupe. The paint has some flaws, ainly in the front bumper where it is peeling near the license plate area. The rest of the paint job is great shape The car was originally blue and the custom red was applied in the door jams as well as the trunk jams. The Glass is clear and intact with old tints that may need to be replaced. All lighting and trims are in place and functional.INTERIOR-The interior is a plush beige leather that is covered throughout the cockpit on the dash and doors. It is in good condition throughout and in fair condition on the seats. The seats are showing age with cracks and blemishes from normal use. The seats are supportive yet comfortable for long drives. This car is the epitome of a Grand Tourer. This Cosmo also has a host of Stereo upgrades including an indash TV. The OEM stereo which is known to fail has been replaced with Kenwood units. The gauge cluster and instrument display are clear and functioning properly.ENGINE-A 20B 3 Rotor Engine powers this car effortlessly. With 300 HP from the factory, t offers plenty of power and torque. It sounds amazing and pulls very strong. It idles smoothly and quietly. There is no smoke or signs of oil/water consumption. The engine has been fitted with a K&N high performance intake filter kit. There is also a pair of custom AutoEXE Stainless Steel exhausts that are very quiet. The engine bay and drivetrain are clean and original.SUSPENSION / WHEELS / BRAKES-The suspension rides smooth with confident brakes and good tires. The wheels are hard to find and period correct Mazda Speed LM Wheels that are perfectly sized in 18inch for the car.
