This is a period correct base section Maserati 450S oval tube chassis. It was remanufactured with direct reference to the original Stirling Moss 450S chassis.

When the Stirling Moss 450S was rebuilt and restored by then owner Steve Forristall, the workshop rebuilding the car had the ex-Jim Kimberly Maserati 450S #4504 in their shop to use as their direct template. This chassis is the exact specification spare chassis that was constructed with direct reference to the restored Stirling Moss 450S chassis for Steve Forristall's own use.

2. Vintage Maserati Chassis Plate and Title

The 450S Chassis comes with an original Vintage Maserati Chassis Plate # AM107398 and California Certificate of Title

This 450S chassis and chassis plate are part of a cancelled order for an exact recreation of the Stirling Moss Maserati 450S.
