Car description |

For sale is a Lotus Super Seven reproduction built using Series Two blueprints by Vintage Racing Services. The chassis was completed and is ready for the next steps of this build to be taken. The famous tube chassis is a perfect recreation for the Super Seven frame and has been tested to confirm factory specification and rigidity. The factory specification aluminum body is almost complete, save for some final panel fitment and a missing piece near the passenger's shoulder, andincludes a genuine Caterham fiberglass nose and fenders. The chassis comes with a narrowed rear frame designed for this application as well as a fuel cell and full suspension.Designed to be a right hand drive car, the RHD steering rack and pedals are currently in place, as is the correct RHD dashboard. The transmission tunnel and engine compartment has been designed specifically to stock specifications with a hood inlet to allow for Weber DCOE carburetors and ITB foam air filters; however, these cars can accommodatea wide variety of motors so the next step of this build is for you to decide.
Because this car is a recreation of a Lotus Super Seven designed specifically for track use, this vehicle does not have a VIN. It is being sold with the sole intention of being a track vehicle, although it can also be assigned a VIN and registered as a kit orcompositevehicle. This is a high quality chassis designed to take the abuse of constant track use, built by a highly reputable shop specializing in vintage racing. As far as Seven reproductions go, this is as good and as close to a genuine Lotus Seven chassis as it gets.
This vehicle is being offered without a reserve. Happy bidding! On Nov-27-18 at 11:52:11 PST, seller added the following information:
