My '65 Lotus Seven started out as a restoration project approx 10 years ago. I purchased the Frame and body from New England Classics, which had imported it from England. We sourced a proper 1500 cc Cosworth that was built with forged pistons and assorted high cost, high performance parts (a full list is available upon request) including dual weber carbs. The Seven had new Spax shocks and new springs put on all 4 corners. The car was sent to Centennial Aircraft Services in Michigan for a full repaint and restoration. Centennial is one of the finest vintage aircraft restoration facilities in the country and did a beautiful job. The car has various bits and pieces from Caterham and Birkin sprinkled in including wheels, fenders, hood, seats, etc and the restoration was centered around making this a strong, beautiful and drivable Seven as opposed to a museum piece. Vin is incorrect but added to complete the listing; data plate is a replacement as well. With its Brooklands windshield and right hand drive, the car is the center of attention wherever it goes. It has been driven approximately 2,000 miles since restoration. This Seven is fast and handles like a go kart. The paint still shines beautifully but has some very minor nicks and cracks/blems from being driven. Car shows and drives beautifully; I guarantee is one of the prettiest Sevens you will ever see!!!
