1979 LOTUS ESPRIT S2 * GIUGIARO DESIGN * JPS Black/Gold / black leather.ONLY 38K ORIGINAL MILES!!! Build date 11/79A TRUE COLLECTOR PIECE WITH ANDRETTI F1 & GIUGIARO DESIGN HISTORYThis could possibly be the only 79 JPS color black/gold original hand signed by Mario anywhere in the world.I have owned her for the past 21 years and sadly I must set her free.Drives great. Handles like a dream, mooth strong running engine, earbox is perfect and shifts smoothly.All electrics work well.LOTUS 907 Twin Cam 4 Valve Motor, win Dellorto Carbs.Clutch and timing belt have less than 300 miles.Stored in temp controlled museum for past 10 years.Started several times a year. Oil and fuel dumped several times.Battery tendered always, attery replaced last fall.Been to a few local car shows and grabbed trophies every time.Show stopper and a head jerker, ot turner.The values of the earlyGiugiaro Esprits are on the move. Hagerty etc...Paint is original and good but does have some small thin stress cracks in the fiberglass as ALL fiberglass cars have. A few small edge buffing burn marks above the doors.Hella Halogen lights.Interior was re-dyed, ob is good but not concours. Carpets are perfect.Ultra suede has a few small cracks on the dash, arely noticeable. Seats have no tears and are not worn out.Autographed by Mario AndrettiAndretti won the F1 Championship in 78 and this is a 79 badged car commemorating the 78 win.In 1978 Andretti Won F1 Championship in a JPS LOTUS.Mario Andretti signed the car in two places, rivers side air intake and rear deck above the F1 badge commemorating his win.More pictures of Mario with purchase...I HAVE NEVER RACED or BEATEN THIS CAR.She has a small MOMO leather / Lotus badged steering wheel installed (turn signals do not return).Also have original steering wheel in great condition (signals will return) but the cool factor is 1/2 compared to the MOMO wheel. Can be changed in under 5 minutes.Engine cover not shown.
