The car now has just over 53. 00 miles on it. From the air conditioning system replacement to the extensive suspension overhaul. this car has been cared for. The exterior showcases an excellent corrosion-free original body and beautiful Lincoln-optioned Crystal Blue Clearcoat Metallic paint throughout. The paint is in very good to excellent condition. only a few minor imperfections. This color is a perfect compliment to the optional Dark Blue Cambria Carriage Roof with Lincoln insignias. The paint and body show well. You can see some frazzle in the clearcoat. mainly confined to the driver's rear quarter panel. You have to look for it. The paint is in excellent condition considering it is over 25 years old. The factory alloys feature Michelin whitewall tires. 215/70R15s. replaced less than 2. 00 miles ago. Open the doors to American luxury. The blue leather interior is in great shape. The power seating is functional for both driver and passenger. The upholstery showcases original plush leather. It appears the back seating was seldom if ever used. The door panels are in excellent condition as is the headliner. The carpeting is clean and detailed as well. The air conditioning system features a replaced compressor. evaporator and accumulator with verifying receipts. It works great as does the heat. The stereo is the original AM/FM DNR Cassette with power antenna. The radio and antenna work. The gauges and instruments are functional throughout with exception of the clock. The dash is original and in very good condition. There are two small cracks in the perforated speaker grille areas. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is in excellent condition as well. Under the hood is the fuel-injected 5. 0 liter roller cam V8. This powerplant has had a recent tune-up with replaced wires. plugs. rotor. cap. and coil. The engine mounts have been replaced. The oil pan gasket was replaced for a minor leak. The engine runs smooth and is paired with the Ford Automatic Overdrive transmission. The hood struts that hold the hood up are in need of replacement (inexpensive. easy fix). The cooling system has been gone through with hoses replaced throughout. The transmission has also been recently serviced with a new filter and fluid replacement. The trunk is clean and original. The spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment is in place. This trunk also has a remote open button in the glovebox and will close with a soft touch. power-assisted like a Cadillac. The undercarriage is in excellent condition. This car has had extensive work performed underneath including the front and rear shocks replaced. the upper and lower front control arms replaced along with the idler. tie rod ends. and pitman arm. The floorboards are excellent as is the frame. This car has not been driven in harsh conditions. This is especially evident by the undercarriage condition. In the records. an axle seal was replaced as well as the oil pan gasket. The transmission filter has been replaced as well. All of this work was done in the last 2. 00 miles.
