Car description

1971 Lincoln Mark III custom convertible with 460 dual quad engine. Beautiful car that's a real eye catcher!
Custom made convertible. Possibly a one-of-a-kind car. I've never seen another. **Does not have a top.** However, one could be converted to fit from a 71-72 LTD. That was my plan when I bought it. But never got around to it.
460 with mild Edelbrock cam, Blue Thunder Dual Quad intake and 2 500 cfm Edelbrock carbs. New 17" American Racing wheels. Runs and drives great!
Solid as a rock and straight as an arrow! Very nice driver quality paint job. Super clean interior.

I've been driving this car proudly for the last 3 years. But the next owner may want to address a few things. Being a convertible.. most didn't bother me.Power windows are not working.Heater core is by-passed.A/C does not blow cold.Headlamp doors retract when car is off. Go back down when started. Also, I hung dual glass pack mufflers up with clamps to see if I liked the sound. I do.. my wife doesn't. So I never committed and had them welded on. I have brand new over axle and tail pipes to install. I will leave that for the new owner to decide if they like the sound or not. If that's an issue. I'm happy to have it all professionally installed if you decide on the glass packs.
I absolutely love this car! Don't really want to sell it either. But it really isn't practical for me. I don't get the opportunity to drive it enough. More photos are available. I'm happy to talk to any serious buyer in greater detail. I also have a maroon 69 Mark III for sale. I don't need 2 Mark's. I need the garage space. So whichever sells first. I plan to keep the other.
Full payment due within 7 days of listings end. Please ask all questions and have funds available prior to making this purchase. Please do not make an offer without the money on hand. Vehicle will only be released after all fund have cleared my account. If transporting.. I suggest an enclosed trailer. Buyer is responsible for shipping. But I can help load if necessary.
