Hello... Up for bid is a Beautiful 1947 Lincoln Continental Two Door Convertible Cabriolet! It is 1 of only 738 Convertibles produced for 1947! This stunning Lincoln has its original 292CI V12 engine and Three Speed Manual Transmission. The engine runs smooth and quiet. It accelerates nicely on the road. The transmission and clutch are great and makes for a fun drive. It rides very smooth just as a classic Lincoln should, the steering is nice and handles the road great. The tires are nice and brakes stop straight. It does not overheat at all. This car gets so much attention and compliments, it is a total head turner everyone loves it. The body is very straight and clean. All of the body lines are straight, doors open and shut perfect. The paint is about 10 years old and still presents nicely. It is a beautiful color and shines great. It has some small chips and imperfections touched up noticeable when close as expected of a nice driver quality car. The trim and glass is all very nice. All of the chrome was also redone and looks nice and bright. The convertible top looks excellent. The trunk and engine compartment look great as well. The trunk still has its original jack and kit. You can take this car to car shows and be proud it is a beauty. The interior was also redone and looks really nice. The seats have no rips or cracking. The carpet is nicely presented. Dash was nicely repainted and door panels look great. This car has all working lights, horn and all gauges except fuel gauge floats and sometimes power windows dont go up. It even comes with its original 1947 Operators Manual. The car spent most of its time in California and is very solid underneath. The underside looks original and straight. This car is recognized as a Full Classic Car by the Classic Car Club Of America. It is one of the most beautiful cars ever made and extremely rare to find one.
