From 1970 through 1979 Lincoln was on its fifth generation of the coveted Continental. The Continental is a full-sized luxury model meant to compete with Cadillac in the early years and has had to adapt to competing with the European luxury and sport cars as well. The 1970 Lincolns were the some of the biggest cars ever produced by the Company and the 1977-1979 models were indeed the Largest automobiles ever produced to this day by the manufacturer. They were a true statement both then and now. This particular stunning Town Coupe has traveled just over 19,000 miles from new and has never been driven in the winter. It has been lovingly cared for by two elderly owners with garage storage since new. The paint and interior look almost like new. This is serious luxury with window sticker and owners manuals to accompany this fine automobile. It seems to start, runs and drive as it should with all lights in working order. The factory CB radio is still operational. A ton of car for the money....literally.
