Description
Before I begin I would encourage all serious buyers to contact me directly at 517-425-0129. Although this is a 7 day auction, I reserve the right to end early.You are bidding on a classic mid 70’s Lincoln Continental, great looking color combination, certainly a future collectable and current values reflect that. Recently purchased from the second owner of many years, miles at 109400 which are said to be original and based on condition I would agree. On a funny note, I am including the original owners 8 track collection which is full of all the popular tunes of that era. Also have all original manuals, truly a time capsule car.
From what I understand the car has never been restored, just preserved and enjoyed. It has a few minor blemishes but nothing to detract from the overall appearance. Description as follows:
Mechanical:
* 460 V-8 motor
* runs and drives well
* newer exhaust
* new tires
* all power accessories including flip up headlights work
* A/C does not work, have not investigated it but does seem to be complete
* oil pan drip if left overnight, I assume it’s the oil pan gasket
* Engine compartment appears to be left alone. Very original in appearance with all factory chalk marks and stickers still in place.
Interior:
* Factory original burgundy interior, excellent shape
* floor mats are not original
* very clean, original trunk area with complete spare and jack assy.
Exterior:
* original black finish, a few minor nicks and chips
* all chrome, trim, bumpers very nice
* good glass all around
* perfect vinyl top, no rips or tears
* overall very impressive car cosmetically
