Beautiful and lovingly cared forMark VI priced well below market for quick sale.
Purchase this '83 Designer Series Pucci Edition Mark VI because it was a twin to a Mark VI my parent's bought new and was also my wedding car. I've enjoyed her for coming up to 3 years now but time to rotate her out of my carriage house.
Autocheck confirms the 84,500 miles are original with no accidents ever reported against this Lincoln. (The vast majority of the miles are from Arizona &California). Whilst she is pictured in the snow for this advert, she wasn't a winter car for me or probably the owner before me.
The paint remains in very good condition with just some small spots/marks that could use attention, if afastidiousbuyer desired. The carriage roof was replaced approximately4 years ago and remains in excellent shape. The wheels have normal wear and aging and could be improved by having them refinished. The whitewall tires were just installed a few months ago and have little miles on them.
The original Interior is also in very good condition. The glove box door does have the wonky wave at the top that all these seem to develop. All the options are working also, includingthe sunroof. (I don't pull shut the interior cover that blocks out the sunroof because the headline material on the lid has some marks). The only options not working are the automatic headlight dimmers, the door lock sticks on the front passenger's door and sometimes the power antenna needs help as it is just slightly bent at the top of the aerial. The am/fm stereo works beautifully, but not the cassette function.
Mechanically I have looked after any needs as they have developed and am not aware of anything important outstanding but this is a 37 year old car and is an As Is sale. Like all old Lincolns, expect a fluid drip here or there from the undercarriage as they like to marktheirterritory. The strong arm lift supports that hold up the hood when you are viewing the engine need to be replaced.
Overall, very good condition but not mint or showroom. A few marks here or there yes, but still a beautiful classic'83 Designer Series Pucci Edition Mark VI.
Ring 724-996-1288 if you wish to purchase...clear Title in hand, payment either with green cash in hand or bank wire only, no exceptions.
