Paint job is older probably 15 years old at least, shows wear. No rust or evidence of body work. Floor boards are solid. Top was replaced in 2006 with black top, originally a tan top. Factory red leather interior shown by the build sheet. The leather on doors and seats are pretty good but the fabric inserts are worn out. Has new factory style carpet in trunk and under the deck lid. The convertible top has the original back window frame which is rare. Push button doors open like brand new, the spring assist and hinges still work as new. Power windows work. Fog lights, headlights, brakelights, parking lights and tail lights work. Brakes feel good. clutch feels good. Convertible top goes up and down and locks correctly. Back window works perfectly and is original. Underbody shows only minimal surface rust no holes. All the gauges are in working order and dash looks new. Three speed on the column transmission with a 4.22:1 ratio rear end. Has been sitting for 6 years but started right up and drove out nice but as with any old car it needs to be thoroughly gone thru and checked for road worthiness. Chrome and trim on it. No parts missing. The radio and dash lights light up the volume doesn't come out of the speakers but it does have a foot control for hands free operation. We have a copy of the original build sheet for this vehicle which is shown in the picture. 1947 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet came with a 292 CID Flathead V-12 Engine that runs smooth, it has the following options: Convertible, Sea Gull gray paint, Red Leather, Tan Top (has since been replaced to black in 2006), Goodrich White Sidewalls, Standard Radio, Heater, Overdrive, Chrome Bands, Fog Lamps, and Side Mirror.
