Car description |

I have had this lovely 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible for two years. The car runs great and what a head turner is is! I purchased it from an older gentleman in Anaheim, California who had it garaged for 20 years.
Since I acquired the vehicle:rebuilt engine (currently 434 miles on the rebuilt engine)rebuilt radiatorrebuilt alternatorrebuilt water pumpreconditioned electric windowsreconditioned electric for convertible topfront bench seat - new foamnew thin white wall tires tires
* The 30 year old exterior paint is in good condition with exception to the three specific areas as shown in the included photos. (Some chipping under the drivers door, two 5 inch scratches on the right side rear fender near the 'Continental' script and a 3 inch scratch on the trunk lid).* No rust.* The original AM radio works but factory 8-track player does not.* The three speakers in front and one in the rear all work.* Power antenna, power seat, all electric windows work.* Power door lock button works. The four door lock pulls move but appear to need lubrication inside the door to move up and down freely.* Clock on dashboard works intermittently.* Windshield wipers work.* Temperature control - All buttons ('OFF', LOW', 'DE FOG' and 'DE ICE') buttons can be depressed. Vacuum opens and closes vents for each setting, however the fan blows only high and only on the 'DE ICE' button.* Turn signals, parking lights, brake lights, headlamps and high beam foot switch all work.* Convertible top is in very good condition and the mechanism runs smoothly.* It appears that the car once had air conditioning but the compressor and hoses were later removed. The evaporator coil in front of the radiator is still attached.* Shop manual and owners manual are in tact.
