Up for sale is our 1991 Lincoln Hearse made by Miller Meteor in 1992. It has the top beacon and professionally installed WIG WAG headlights like the police have. The normal lights work too. We are in Lancaster, Ohio. This hearse has been with us it's entire life as we are a funeral home and the original owners with a clear title.
You think an old town car drives nice then you should drive a hearse! Beefier suspension just floats it!
The good: it has 90,057 original miles. the transmission was rebuilt at 75,000 miles. It has great tires on it. Power everything, Always, no matter what we changed the oil in it regularly 3000 miles or less.
The bad: We retired it earlier this year to becoming our backup hearse, and we just didn't use it as it's dated. It started to developed some rust. The problem is that the battery has since died and the the gas line developed a slight leak right under the driver side door we don't use it so no need to fix it. Currently you'd probably have to fix the gas line, add some gas, jump it/ put in a battery as it has sat since April, and we haven't done anything to it since so she is dirty. We have maintained it, and it was a great vehicle, but we'd like to see it live on but not near us as someones daily driver or a funeral home needing something. I started to take out the rear interior to make a roller bed to be used in a mini van, well, that project never got accomplished so all the hardware is still there, it would just have to be re screwed in by the new owner.
Here's your opportunity to add huge speakers ect, as these things are built like tanks. It is on the town car platform just immensely beefed up to hold caskets of extremely heavy people. One rule we have is the new owner must live 30 miles plus away from 43130 as we don't want our customers to see it locally driving to and from the grocery store or filled with Halloween items and then they think of when their grandfather ect that was in it....
Any questions please call or email. I'm in Central ohio 45 minutes south of Columbus down in Lancaster, Oh and this will be a no reserve auction so bid and bid happy.
Also ask your wife/significant other prior to the auction ending if you can buy it. If you need to inspect it come prior to the auction ending and remember this is a binding contract that makes the high bidder responsible to ship ect. The vin is wrong as i didnt take pics of it and am doing this before another service at our other funeral home location ill try to update it.
I will help out with shipping via truck ect. in any way shape or form. Thanks again. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION the STARTING bid is AT 1 DOLLAR! ENJOY! and have fun!
Ebay pulled this today as i didn't have a vin, (1LNLM81W1NY611064) I have it now and as you can see we bought it through Muster Associates who commissioned this white hearse on our behalf to be built by Miller Meteor. We took possession of it on 5/29/92 and are the original owners even though it is a 1991. We are the original owners. (This was the M81 Lincoln Town Car Executive series model that was then turned into a hearse for us. Lincoln doesn't make hearses now nor does any big car company
