VERY RARE CUSTOM CLASSIC 1942 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL

VERY RARE 1942 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL. This 1942 lincoln has been beautifully modified with a dramatically lowered roofline and a updated post war grille that compliments a removable, non folding, padded and chopped top to create a more elegant, more exclusive restyled look. The " Carson Top " was perfectly done by Houser"s Carson Tops of Los Angeles and is an original. The bodywork, paint and brightwork all show very nicely. The interior is near perfect and best of all, it retains a correct flatheat V-12. Production of the 42 coupe was cut short by america"s entry into world war two.Only 200 coupes were built before production ceased. Its been noted that there may only be around 20 or so still in existence today.
