Car description

Here you go folks. a 1969 Lincoln Mark III! This Lincoln is what you've been looking for! Original black exterior paint! The driver side rear quarter panel has some primer spots bleeding through. and the forward engine lid has some paint wear on top. I was told a car cover on the car for years under a car port caused this. but who cares. The passenger side in front of the rear quarter has a rust spot about the size of a silver dollar. There is one door ding in the passenger door. Other that that. this car is beautiful and straight! I've been driving it the way it is. or you could repaint it. the choice is up to you. Still has the original vinyl top with no holes or tears. The interior is also beautiful. Red leather seats with no rips or heavy wear spots. Red shag carpet with the original floor mats. All windows go up and down as they should. Power passenger seat works after I cleaned the tracks. driver side getting power. but track also needs cleaned. All exterior and interior lights work as they should. Clock doesn't work. but all other gauges work great. Horn works. and even the 8 track tape player. I bought a whole bunch of 8 tracks to play. and just darn cool to listen to music this way (I'll leave a couple. but the others staying with me!) The drivers side arm rest is a little worn. and the window switch in the passenger side isn't operational. but can control the window from the drivers side panel. Windshield wipers work. and so does the original cruise control! I've tuned it up. changed all the fluids. and she runs like a beast with that Big Block Ford pushing it. AC doesn't seem to blow cold. The previous owner recently replaced the brake booster. battery. and alternator. Has new mufflers. shocks. and brakes. However. the hard brake line running to the rear brakes will need a quick repair due to a pin hole just developed in the line just under the drivers door (easy fix). The trunk matting was nasty. so we threw it away and was planning on buying a new kit. Also needs a new trunk gasket. when it rains heavy. will get water in the trunk. but zero trunk rust. nd the underside is also rust free. We have the original owners manual and some other paperwork. The glove box still has the original vanity mirror in it!All the tires are like new with no dry rot. We bought this car from an estate sale. and had been sitting for quite some time. Its been fun getting things back to operation. but its time to move her. If you've been looking for one of these. you can own an all original Mark III for little money and do what you want with it. Good Luck!
