LOW OPENING BID- NO RESERVE!
77 Mark V with rare optional vinyl roof "delete." Needs sanding and paint. No rust holes, only surface rust. 460 V8. Dual Exhaust.
Stunning original interior with beautiful headliner. Chrome is incredible for a 41 year old car. No cracks in dash, carpet dash pad included. Clean dent free exterior. Surface rust in places, but the frame is SOLID and rust free. I will upload photos of the undercarriage soon. Will need sanding and primer prior to painting. Lots of documentation, including the original owners manual.
Odometer shows 70,295 and does work. Original stereo doesn't work, a previous owner installed a remote style stereo/CD, but it doesn't seem to work either. The power antenna does work. Heat works, but I can't tell if the A/C works. Drivers front signal lens is cracked (I may replace it prior to listing end.) The headlight covers do not retract. They stay up, but I'm going to see if I can get them working again. Factory wire-rim hubcaps. Full spare with trunk carpet cover. Power seats & windows work exactly as they should. The plastic piece between the grill and top of bumper is complete, but loose and needs securing. If I have time, I'll secure it better.
Recent work (Nov 2016) includes:
New 4 barrel Motorcraft Carburetor
New radiator
New starter & ignition switch
New alternator.
Tune up- plugs, wires, distributor cap, fuel filter.
Tires have lots of tread, but show minor dry-rot. It really needs white-walls on it anyway! The ugly aftermarket fog lights shown mounted under the front bumper have been removed since these photos were taken.
This isn't a garage basket-case, its a running, driving 41 year old southern car worthy of complete restoration. DRIVE IT HOME! PRICED TO SELL. Restore it yourself inexpensively, and have a five figure Mark V. No need to spend thousands on interior refurbishment.
This car is available for sale locally & the listing may be retracted at any time if sold locally.
100% feedback ebay user for 11+ years. Bid with confidence, I've even sold aircraft on ebay. I will do my best to answer your questions promptly. I will work closely with your transport company if you decide to have it shipped. Will store securely for 14 days. Buyers with zero feedback, please contact me prior to bidding. Please note payment terms.
Thank you & good luck!
UPDATE 2/13: Undercarriage photo added. Oil shown on cross member support dripped during oil change. Oil change completed 2/12/18. Cracked driver side signal lens removed and I ordered both side lenses (new.) They will be included or installed (time permitting.) While investigating the non-functioning headlight retraction system, it appears both L & R side actuators are faulty, and will need to be replaced for the headlight retraction system to work properly. They've been bypassed for now. A used pair of good actuators are currently for sale on ebay for only $150.00.
