Car description |

For Sale is ONE 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible rescue.
This convertible needs your love and attention to return it to its previous glory as the only production suicide four-door convertible of the modern era. It is 99% complete and a perfect addition to one's collection of classic automobiles.
The pictures tell the story. The previous owner was restoring the body, although not very professionally. The car starts with starting fluid (needs carb rebuild), runs loudly (exhaust needs replacement), and moves (towing recommended). IT has been in a non-heated garage for the last 30 years.
Q: Does it have rust? Yes. Most of what you see is primer over paint and/or repaint. The floors are solid, but the car is very typical of the era. It is not rust free underneath and will need some repairs.
Not gonna list everythingwrong with this car. It is what it is. The pictures tell the story. You decide if it is a project for restoration or a parts car. I bought this car to fix it up, but I am losing my storage. My loss is your gain.
It runs, but barely. It moves, but barely. Not drivable. Windows and top do not work because of previous owner tearing out the switches and parts. The drivers window does go up and down.
It is in better shape than a lot of other Lincolns on the internet that are NOT convertibles and are missing parts, engines, or transmissions. Missing the round key for the glove box and the trunk switch (controls the top). There are lots of parts in the trunk for the doors, etc.
Mileage: 76,XXX miles (probably NOT 176,XXX miles)
Front power Disc brakes, Rear Drums
6-way power bench seat, with center armrest
Black Leather Interior in decent shape
Brand New Single-Chamber master cylinder (rears need bleeding).
Automatic temperature Control AC Doesn't work
Black Vinyl Convertible Top (condition as shown).
AM 8-track Stereo doesn't workAntenna will not extend
Shipping across the country will cost you at least $1500 so consider that.No refunds. No warranty.
Final Payment must be with a cashiers check or cash in person. Not paypal. Only the deposit can be paypal.
