Car description

Aren't some of you tired of black Continentals? Nice daily driver of Teal metallic color, with newer upholstery that looks like it was done yesterday(including Lincoln seat badges) in the original pattern, colors and materials (leather, fabric and vinyl-see build plate pic). The only non-original addition was cup holders in front and rear armrests-see pics. New carpet and Lincoln emblem floor mats, front and rear. All instruments/gauges work except original radio. Car has a good music system with blue tooth in glove box with amps and kickers in trunk, quality speakers in package tray and kick panels for full quality sound. New carpet kit in trunk with spare tire cover. Rust in trunk deck lid-see pic. Rest of car, minimal rust. All pwr. windows (including wing windows), locks work andcold AC. Tilt steering wheel works when vacuum pressure is built up. Original look newer quartz clock works but time set knob missing. Newer carb.Brakes, lines, rotors were replaced about 8000 miles ago, dual master cylinder added, all new belts, hoses, fuel sending unit and pump (aux elec. fuel pump added to overcome vapor lock). Oil pump, sending unit, water pump, alternator, engine freeze plugs replaced.Runs good and cool, shifts smoothly with 3spd automatic.Old window and door rubber needs replacement to make car quiet and water proof.Minor leaks, dents-driver side. Need paint & body but not imminent. Engine odometer reads 34,500 buthas probably turned once. I bought it in 2011 and have had a lot of professional work done, and put about 8k miles on it incl. trips to coast and mountains. Always garaged when not driven. It's time to let a new owner have some fun with it, finish it up.
