Car description |
---|
You are looking at a 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Collector's Series Coupe. This car has been in one family since it was bought off the show floor. The gentleman that bought it was a man of means and went into the local Lincoln dealership and ordered his Midnight Blue beauty and told the owner of the Lincoln store to check every box, including; 6-way power lumbar leather seats, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power vent windows, power moon roof, Quadrophonic AM/FM/8-track and the list goes on.
The car has never seen a winter and it's been in indoor climate controlled storage it's entire life. The body is excellent. The interior is mint and original. Everything works on the car, including; ice cold air conditioning, Panoramic sun roof, the AM/FM/8-track Quadraphonic radio works, and the clock keeps perfect time.
Some years the gentleman drove it 800 miles, some years he drove it 1,500 miles. I now has just over 54,000 original miles on it. It is probably not the lowest mileage original Lincoln on the planet, but it is, beyond a doubt the most cared for and meticulously maintained.
Do a fly-in to Minneapolis, get picked up at the airport and drive this Lincoln to anywhere in the country. These cars have not quite reached their peak as far as collect-ability, but to find on of these beauties in this condition is truly rare and is a 5-star future investment.
It has just had a front end alignment, oil filter and fluid changes and is ready for the road.
The car comes with 15 pieces of original paperwork, including; the original window sticker showing close to $22,000 in 1979, the original warranty identification card and extended service plan membership card. Back in the day, when you bought a Lincoln of this caliber, you would receive 4 color coded uncut keys...these 4 keys along with many other documents go with the car, as does the original umbrella and tool kit that you would have received when you purchased the car. There is also the original dealer invoice and mileage statement card with 6 miles on it.
The reserve is set reasonably low for a car of this caliber. It has a clear open title and can be shipped anywhere in the world. This one is a keeper and not for a ton of cash. Please bid with confidence. I am a 100% eBay seller and want to keep it that way. Be a good bidder and bid to own. Call me with any questions: 612-849-6350, Thank you, Roger
